Information Technology Integrated into Instruction has been a current trend. A survey conducted by one of the most well-known parenting magazines in Taiwan, “Education. Parenting: Family Lifestyle,” showed that over 50% of the junior high school students said that their learning motivation was not strong. For many junior high school students, it is a journey full of trauma. Moreover, 佐藤学(さとう まなぶ), a famous professor in the University of Tokyo, indicated that “A teacher’s responsibility is not to chase the contents of the textbooks but to realize every student’s learning.” Suitable YouTube Videos are chosen and integrated into PowerPoint presentation teaching in order to understand the effects of integrating YouTube Videos into Chinese teaching on junior high school students’ learning achievement and attitudes. A quasi-experimental study is conducted to examine the effects on a treatment group, a ninth grade class integrating YouTube Videos into PowerPoint presentation teaching and a control group, another ninth grade class using the traditional lecture as a teaching method. We can draw the following conclusions from the result of the research:(1) Those who are getting PowerPoint presentation teaching integrated with YouTube Videos have better learning achievement and attitudes. (2) Students show a significant improvement in their Chinese learning achievement and attitudes after integrating YouTube Videos into Chinese teaching. (3)Students with a middle level of Chinese learning achievement make progress the most after integrating YouTube Videos into Powerpoint presentation teaching. (4)In general, the students of the treatment group mostly have a positive attitude towards the YouTube Videos integrated Chinese teaching method and believe that this method can improve their learning attitudes and grades. Therefore, the following suggestions can be made: (1) Teachers can use both YouTube integrated into Chinese PowerPoint Presentation teaching and traditional teaching to make students enjoy learning. (2) Teachers should learn new concepts such as Cloud Learning and Flipped Classroom and they should be able to use multimedia teaching materials flexibly. (3) Integrated cooperation learning allows students to have more space to discuss and express their ideas and it not only creates student-centered learning environment but also shows various forms of integration.
