Since the soldiers would affect national security directly, the Ministry of National Defense of Taiwan issued relevant holiday policy. The concept of taking leisure activities and sight-seeing trips has been widely supported in these years. The volunteer soldiers are encouraged to take proper leisure activities to help them relieve their work pressure, raise the army morale and increase the battle efficiency. This study aims to discuss the relations among work pressure, leisure attitude and leisure participation of the navy officers. This research includes related data by secondary literature to make sure the study structure and the questionnaire design and involved a survey. The study applied the convenience sampling method, and the participants were the Navy officers in Tsoying, Suao, Ma Gong and Keelung...etc. The quantitative analysis of the questionnaires was conducted through Descriptive statistics Analysis, Factor Analysis, Independent-Samples t-test, One-Way Analysis of Variance(ANOVA), Scheffe’s method and Regression Analysis. by SPSS20.0. The research reveals the following findings: Factors concerning Navy officers background including marriage status, age, education level, ranking, period of service and monthly income affect their leisure participation significantly. The interpersonal relationship of Navy officers have positive influence on their leisure participation of social contact, culture and habits. Navy officers have highly positive and aggressive attitude toward leisure participation. Navy officers’ behavior idea of leisure attitude negatively related to the leisure participation of the social contact, culture and habit. Navy officers’ cognition of the leisure attitude positively related to the leisure participation of their hobbies and habits. Based on the above findings, the researcher suggests the decisive and managing level of Navy should provide appropriate and well-built leisure activity facilities and diverse leisure information choices for the officers. Besides, the navy officers should develop correct leisure attitudes and realize the importance of leisure activities.
