Through our application software, the rotational speed of fan can be controlled by an Android smart phone. The electricity charge of AC fan was compared with DC brushless fan. At 3000 RPM of rotational speed, the power consumption of AC fan is about 20 W and its electricity charge is about NT 44 dollars per month. The power consumption of DC brushless fan is about 2.4 W and its electricity charge is about NT 5 dollars per month. The DC brushless fan can save energy significantly.
