The solar energy converted into the equivalent cooling effect that can reduce the temperature inside the car for parking situations. Because the thermoelectric chips only consume the solar power, the chips don’t increase engine load effect. Moreover, the generated power can transform the equivalent effect for decreasing temperature. In addition to decrease vehicle air conditioner usage, we can reduce vehicle emissions and engine loads. Based on reduce vehicle emissions of carbon dioxide, this thesis researched how to minimize vehicle air conditioner usage and damage to the environment. After the system was installed and apply to vehicle air conditioner systems in this thesis, we can determine the condition of engine load via measured data by exhaust gas analyzer. If the vehicle load is no obvious added, this thesis research can decide whether the vehicle carbon dioxide emissions to be improved. Due to low conversion efficiency of thin film solar cells in experiments, the module still needs auxiliary power consumption to the original vehicle battery.
