Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 財富與稅務管理系 === 102 === With the younger generation’s attitude towards money being influenced by the transformation of modern society, the low birth rate and the increase of per capita income, current youngsters tend to have some degree of psychological bias towards money. Through the comprehension of the relationship between attitude towards money and psychological bias, one’s personal attitude towards money and whether a certain degree of psychological bias exists are taken as the research motivation. Apart from employing the Attitude toward Money Scale to explore the participants’ attitude towards money, the study also tried an in-depth discussion of whether there is a certain degree of psychological bias under different attitudes towards money.
The research subjects of this study were limited to those who were no younger than 18 and at least had an experience in buying and selling stocks. Convenience sampling was conducted and bearer entity questionnaire form was used. Questionnaires were issued between November 11 and December 2, 2013, with a total of 520 issued and 520 recovered. The valid questionnaires were summed up to 475 copies and the effective recovery rate was 91.34%. The empirical analysis results are: different demographic variables are remarkably different in psychological bias, attitude toward money and other dimensions; power and fame, budget and planning as well as anxiety are seen to have a significantly predictive power on self-control, while distrust has no significantly predictive power on self-control; power and fame have significantly predictive power on overconfidence, while budget and planning, distrust as well as anxiety have no significantly predictive power on overconfidence.
