Summary:碩士 === 崑山科技大學 === 視覺傳達設計研究所 === 102 === Starting with the observation of daily thoughts and recording of emotional transition from daily personal letters, diary, and scribbles, the researcher of the current thesis experienced a fantastic journey to self-exploration. The painting style of Mandala was employed as a ritual creation for self-coordination, through which the individual self neglected in the developmental process was realized and empathized. By means of the pictorial contents displayed in works, negative emotions were allowed for an exit and the individual self could enter subsequently to realize and observe, making the symbolic connotation of painting a door to reacquainting the individual self. This journey enabled the individual self to uncover the inner emotional conditions waiting to be realized, leading the individual self to gradually realize that the reason for inner contradiction resulted from unfulfilled needs in the childhood…
