And in different salinity culture experiments, observe the salinity of this two kinds of Cladophora clayey layer thickness and the number of epiphytic algae, and found that C. glomerata.'s Growth is very sensitive to salinity, when the salinity is greater than 3.0 ‰ , that induce secrete large amounts of extracellular material, so that the mucilage layer of algae in vitro rapid thickening, thereby affecting its epiphytic algae epiphytic. Because C. glomerata widely distributed globally, so the use of such algae on the pressure-sensitive properties of salt, can be studied as indicators of changes in salinity estuarine organisms.
