The issue of companies’ social responsibility has been discussed worldwide. "Sustainable development" and the "environmental conscience awakening" have become the top concern of humankind in promoting "green consumption" development. "Green marketing" is becoming one of the marketing strategies in business currently. It not only helps to raise awareness about the environment for the consumer, but the implantable “sustainable development" human on the planet of humanity. This study aims to explore the factors that influence consumers’ participation in pro-environment behavior. The study-major factors which have direct influences on Kun Shan University’s international students’ green purchases-used phenomenological in-depth interviews and photo elicitation method to collect the data. The study shows that factors such as scent, brand, quality, price, green or not, create barriers for participants during the purchasing process. But among them, price is noted as the most important factor which influences the participants’ purchasing decisions. Moreover, the study also points out how the participants’ families or friends affect their purchasing process, especially what they learned from their families.
