Regardless of the love between men and women, the relationship of parents and friends, the care for land environment , or the recall of memory … etc, are the methods of showing “Love” . This thesis porfolio is mainly picked out from lots of works within three semesters. The design projects are from a few of the interpretation and concept of love words. "Love" is throughout all design proposals, and these projects render the relationship of “Love” and “Space”.
Lan Yu Ju - Green residential environment design in Ilan, discuss the care for the natural environment, adapting to local climate and environment to create space for people to live. Emphasizing being compatible with nature, rather than competing with it.
Neighbors-kinmen houses and community planning design, to represent the relatoionship of new neighborhood like what they should be in traditional villages. It’s caring rather than being private, and re-thinking the relationship between people with their neighbors in a new community.
Cloud platform-Fongshan Station and commercial building design, exploring how a station in the existing texture divides urban space and affects the overall urban development and transportation connections. After the railways become underground, the city is relinked. This design proposal renders the image of city center in new era.
Love Memorial Hall –wedding space design, exploring the possibility of reusing Kinmen idle military space. Memory and emotion render the fortress by inserting wedding programs, and express the love stories of soldiers. This project has tried to transform marriage relationship into architectural representation.
These above projects are all about love interpretation correspond to space, from initial concepts to residential design, community planning, and the context of urban scale, which contain “Love” about land, neighborhood and memory. At last, the interpretation of “Love” has been turned into the wedding space in reality.
