Summary: | 碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理碩博士班 === 102 === The purpose of the study is to develop and to test the nursing knowledge related to hospice palliative care, attitude and self-efficacy rating scale. The study was conducted in two parts, developing the instrument and testing its validity and reliability. In the parts one, the researcher reviewed the literature about knowledge related to hospice palliative care, attitude, and self-efficacy, and wrote down for item derivation, discussed with expert validity. Five parts of respondents’ personal data, knowledge regarding hospice palliative care, attitudes toward hospice palliative care, self-efficacy, and various scales. In parts two, test its reliability and validity. The scale was administered of 226 nurses in a Clinical southern regional teaching hospital. First, project analysis determines the merits of the topic, the extreme groups, homogeneity testing and other methods of verification. The use of analytical tools for the study of Amos, then factor analysis to verify the scale of the construct validity. The Cronbach alpha of nursing knowledge related to palliative care scale were 0.932, content validity is good. The constructed validity of the scale was by exploratory factor analysis. 9 items were divided to three factors: cognitive work(5 items), behavior and attitude(2 items), knowledge and experience(2 items). Palliative care nurses self-efficacy rating scale was by exploratory factor analysis. 14 items were divided to five factors: hospice palliative care concept(2 items), hospice palliative care work (5 questions), hospice palliative care statutes (2 items), professional support (3 items), knowledge use(2 items).
Scale of the research and development, clinical evaluation as a hospice nurse for information on demand tools. In addition, the measurement results can be used as future arrangements recommended hospice training courses related to the direction and content of the reference.
