The decisive factors of job stress considered in this research include: the role of the management, the relationship between employees and the others who strongly influenced the work of staff , the pressure of the workload, and performance pressure. A total of 200 employees working at a commercial bank in Vietnam were sampled with some survey questions. The collected data is analyzed by using a statistical software -SPSS version 17.0. Three main hypotheses are tested by using statistical methods such as descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, t-test, Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis. This study provided empirical support for the managers that: change initiatives in their organizations will lead to increase level of the job stress and job satisfaction among employees. This research also contributes to understand of the relation development by providing an insight into the factors relating to stress and these factors influence specifically to job satisfaction as well as investigate the frequent stressful work or work stress had a major affect to job satisfaction in a specimen of commercial banks in Vietnam.
