The sampling of study has been taken from the Vietnamese staff to survey whether the personal characteristics make geat difference to job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior or not; how does job satisfaction cause influence on organizational citizenship behavior, and if organizational citizenship behavior causes influence on work satisfaction? The sampling was performed through the questionnaires over 200 employees who are working in Vinh Long Petrolimex company subordinate to Vietnam Petrolimex Corporation. In the polled questionnaires, the data have been carried out a statistical analysis by using the software of SPSS version 17.0. Four important hypotheses are surveyed by statistics such as descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, T-test, correlation analysis and regression analysis. Results also show that six demographic characteristics (gender, age, educational level, experience/ year of working, positions and department) do not make a significant difference to job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior. In addition, the results of correlation and regression analysis indicate that job satisfaction has a great influence on organizational citizenship behavior and organizational citizenship behavior has a positive effect on employees’ job satisfaction in the whole staffs sampled for this study project.
