| Summary: | 碩士 === 醒吾科技大學 === 資訊科技系所 === 102 === The mature technology of cloud computing provides the opportunity that the enterprise may get the highly available information service. The enterprise may not need to invest a lots expanse in hardware to get the appropriate information service as before. Eucalyptus is an open source framework package. It may integrate computer cluster composed of several computers resources while both of virtual machine management application and web portal are provided. The web page may be used to check the status of cloud resource and virtual machines. The cloud framework of Eucalyptus provides the services of CPU, memory and internet. The virtualization technology may store the fundamental infrastructure to be a disk file and install into real hardware when it is calling for service by users. Several virtualization tools, such as KVM, XEM and VMware, may dynamical adjust the occupied resource of virtual machine reply on the predicted performance. Therefore, the availabilities and the performance of virtual machines are very important factors and many researches are focused. This study is to propose a mechanism to evaluate the availabilities of platform resources based on the Eucalyptus and KVM. The experimental testing is to gather the performance information while the virtual machine varies the number of CPU, memory.
