have been widely used in many areas of personal, commercial, military, along with the rising complexity of wireless communication systems, the use of traditional analysis methods to evaluate and design of wireless communication systems have becomes very difficult; using hardware prototype testing methods due to the high cost, difficult, often late in the system development can be achieved; software-based modeling and simulation method is able to make the research and development staff to spend less the case of human and financial resources, and get close to the real system evaluation capacity, thus becoming the main communication system developed preliminary design and verification tools, the current modeling and simulation of wireless communication systems, mainly through Matlab Simulink, SystemView, SPW and other software implementation, but for the characteristics of rapid change, vulnerable to interference wireless transmission environment, these systems is difficult to achieve fast and accurate means of testing pure software-based modeling and simulation, analysis and evaluation.
This paper describes the use of universalsoftware radio peripheral functions to
achieve IF sampler, USRP fully absorbed the idea of software radio, the lexibility to change the bandwidth, frequency, sampling rate of the signal. In theory, the use of USRP signal system can be applied to any kind of standard, this paper FORMOSAT-3 satellite signals, for example, describes in detail the process of using the USRP,achieve software receiver analyzes the basic components of the software receiver module , and using the measured data to assess the effectiveness of the software-based receiver USRP achieve.
