Moreover, this was advocated and emphasized by the public; researches to explore the effectiveness of reading scriptures were also increasing. Most of the research findings confirmed that the education of children reading scriptures certainly had a positive effect, such as: to improve the language skills, to develop moral dispositions, to enable students easily calm and stable, to reinforce memory, and so on. The implementation of reading scriptures could be through numerous forms, such as reading scriptures classes from the religious groups, reading scriptures classes from the community, or reading scriptures education implemented by school teachers, etc. While the researcher was searching for the relevant studies about children’s reading scriptures, there was no researches related to reading scriptures in the kindergarten. It showed that reading scriptures was not prevalent in the kindergarten. The researcher hoped that it could thoroughly understand reading scriptures of Yiguandao kindergarten by this study; providing teachers, parents, students, and related organizations as a reference. It can be helpful for them as well. This study adopted qualitative research methods, through data analysis, literature reviews, observations, and in-depth interviews, etc. The research subjects were principals, teachers, students and parents of Yiguandao reading scriptures kindergarten who were from Tofen town in Miaoli County. The viewpoints and suggestions were the following: Firstly, reading scriptures of Yiguandao kindergarten mainly put emphasis on reading scriptures, and the missionary as a supplement. Secondly, the effectiveness of education on reading scriptures depended on parents’ identity and cooperation. Thirdly, routines establishment of early childhood and life education depended on teachers’ guidance. Fourthly, Yiguandao kindergarten of reading scriptures implemented the education of reading scriptures and the character education. Fifthly, the education of reading scriptures was applicable to preschool stage; continuing to read scriptures which would face the challenge. Sixthly, taking the education of Reading scriptures into the formal curriculum in the elementary school relied on the promotion of relevant organizations. Finally, the researcher looked forward to the government, which could encourage the reading scriptures of Yiguandao kindergartens to be established and be popularized.
