博士 === 玄奘大學 === 中國語文學系碩博士班 === 102 === During the Southern Dynasties, the political situation in China was quite unstable; due to the fact, various and new literary styles were thus created, differing from Eastern Zhou in several aspects: ideologies, literatures, arts, and literary criticisms. Among them, within this period, the landscape poetry style was led to a new page, where its artistry was founded on a solid base. Accordingly, the subject of this research was chosen, “The Research on the Artistry of Landscape Poetry in Southern Dynasties”. This study was directed by Western esthetical theories in its beginning, hoping to take different points of view from the traditional ones. Combing Chinese and Western academic theories, the developing process of landscape poetry in Southern Dynasties, hence, was able to be re-examined in another way, such as feeling and form, visual symbols, etc. Additionally, in the research, chromatic psychology is involved so as to disclose the poets’ artistry notion, value, and the connection between their logics and the environments where they were in when creating the poems, taking Gestalt psychology and affective communion as the essential research methods to reveal the poets’ creation backgrounds.
