This work analyses the technical parameters and their layout of using two different wavelengths, 415 nm and 630nm, of LED lamps and show how to tune their controllers. The controller, STM32F103 together with 7 inch capacitive touch panel consist of the controller module of the LED-based cosmetic devices. LEDs with wavelength of 630 nm (blue visible light) possess the ability to cure the wounded scars and to raise the collagen level of human body’s skin tissues. On the other hand, LEDs with wavelength of 415nm (red light) help heal the infection on the skin. We used 10miniWatt and 30 minutes as a safe threshold intensity and time for using both 630nm and 415nm LEDs to try to cure and improve different patients’ skin quality and the reported the outcome of the tests. With 30 days’ continuous usage of both types of LEDs, we are able to show the difference of the patients before and after using the LED-based cosmetic devices. Additionally some duration tests and reliability tests were also conducted and reported in this work.
