In the TFT-LCD a lot of demand, the inspector yield detection becomes more and more important. This paper is focus on the integration of TFT-LCD panel and the computer terminal, therefore to design a computer terminal to control the TFT-LCD panel display color. Using the VB.NET to control interface computer terminal to transmit the color data signal, through the RS-232 serial transmission, and uses the CPLD hardware description language to receive the computer’s signal and stored for analysis, analytic after transfer to TFT-LCD panel, the panel display computer terminals to send color. There are two key points in computer terminal controlling TFT-LCD panel:(1)VB.NET data signal transmission mode;(2) CPLD received signal accuracy and analytical method. The proposed solution are: (1) Utilizing logic analyzer to detect VB.NET transmits a data signal, and each signal analysis of the meaning, so that CPLD in the parsing process is more accurate; (2) Applying CPLD hardware description language to design frequency signals and VB.NET synchronization, and accurately grasp the data signal in the register. Set this in two ways, can make the signal transmission process is more rapid and accurate design with the VB.NET control, TFT-LCD is more flexible, but also can modify the hardware to satisfied different needs, and it’s easier to optimize the product’s yield.
