Changes of economical information, business of skills in the latest information system, and the society which emphases on creative and enriching culture could be seen as the revolutionary changes dramatically. Due to these changes, people realizes the creative and culture should be the important essential for the social life and economical benefits of human nowadays. Creative city guide of Charles Landry mentions that the aim of create/build a creative city is to see the city as a artwork. Meanwhile, residence/citizens can attend for changing and transferring the old space to a new city. Each of residence/citizens provide their ideas and knowledge included innovation of technological hardware and information system for new lifestyle; moreover, more and more interactions stimulate more development of “City Rebuild in Culture” and make the new history for this generation by the creative. The creative should be the latest than yesterday, and it would be newer tomorrow. Different people use their own different experiences and histories to be based on the city and try to absorb something new from the city as well. According to these issues and background, the aim of this analysis focuses on the differences between the categories of Design city Shanghai, and Crafts and Folk Art city Kanazawa, both are under the Creative Cities Network of UNESCO. Furthermore, investigating the similarities and the differences of the development in Kaohsiung City, such as living attitude, lifestyle, and cultural concept; comparing with Shanghai and Kanazawa would be as a case study in this research. In addition, summaries of gathering and analysing information above to understand the form of the modern creative city.
