In order to manage the increasing number of vendors selling along the streets, Taipei City government initiated a vendor relocation program which coercively forced the secondhand book stores previously demolished due to road widening construction on Guling Street and the commercial firms originally located in substandard buildings on Bade Road. The program ameliorated the chaotic scenes of Taipei City where was experiencing Internationalization. After certain years, this market formed by spare space evolved into an important exchange of traditional culture without the intervention of authority. Therefore, the GuangHusa Electronic Market underwent a intriguing and thoughtful history. In December 1980, under the structure of strategic industrial development plan, the “Hsin-chu Science-based Industrial Park” was officially inaugurated. Resulting in government’s policies and fosterage, Taiwan shifted from labour-intensive industry structure into technology-intensive one. The change combined with the improvement of international economy and globalization accidentally caused the GuangHusa Electronic Market to become the best marketplace in Taipei for trading most modern consumer commodities, where originally was the location for secondhand books, antiques, and jade transactions. The study emphasizes on researching the shift of GuangHusa Electronic Market from a marketplace where was for antiques auction, jade, calligraphy, and cultural relics trade under industrial cluster in the 1980s to the exchange of Abstract high-technological goods due to the development of Taiwanese informational industrialization, and eventually become the key industry for local government. The decay of traditional cultural industries and the rising of high-technological industries, the progress from traditional industries to high-technological industries, and the analyses for changes between external and internal spaces of GuangHusa Electronic Market under industrial cluster effect are also what this study focuses on. The findings of the study can be considered a reference of industrial cluster effect for further researches in the future. Chang-An Shih 施長安 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 132 zh-TW |

The study emphasizes on researching the shift of GuangHusa Electronic Market from a marketplace where was for antiques auction, jade, calligraphy, and cultural relics trade under industrial cluster in the 1980s to the exchange of Abstract
high-technological goods due to the development of Taiwanese informational industrialization, and eventually become the key industry for local government.
