In 2006, in order to reduce the urban-rural gap and prevent the phenomena of the M- shape society from worsening, the Minister of Education therefore enlarged their program as the Collaboration Plan - the After School Alternative Program in which they provided more assistance to both the disadvantaged group and the students with low academic achievement, and combined all relevant programs that had been operated during the past years as well. Xiao Shan Junior High School (an alias) set up remedial education classes based on the main idea of the Collaboration Plan - the After School Alternative Program. They performed so well that they received awards from the Minister of Education for their contribution in this project in the row of 2010 and 2011. It’s the reason why Xiao Shan Junior High School is chosen as the subject of this case study. The purpose of this study was to present the whole picture of the current implementation program through the literature reviewing and the interviews with the teachers, students and all the related personals who were involved in this program. The methods of the character descriptions, dialogues and story-telling were used to render the concepts of “Teaching & Learning” and “Dreaming & Caring”, which the program emphasized especially. To evaluate the effect of motives from students after the application of the Collaboration Plan, the researcher collated all the implementation process and developed a series of relevant teaching proposals, and the result would be given a further reference for the future related remedial education at high schools. Furthermore, how the subject school integrated the useful resources within the community can help the execution of this program. Chang-An Shih 施長安 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 153 zh-TW
