This study not only conducts literature review but also conducts surveys with senior experts to find out what’s the trend of GPS. This study sums up GPS related literature and senior experts in GPS industry as conclusions. The result shows that the integration of different system must be the trend, the network RTK (Real - time kinematic) and PPP (precise point positioning) technology could greatly improve the positioning accuracy up millimeter level. And the application of Indoor Messaging System (IME) and Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM) could very possible solve the difficulties of indoor positioning and the safety problems caused by navigation errors.
