Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 體育學系碩士在職專班 === 102 === This study was to investigate work pressure and job satisfaction of senior hight school physical education teachers in Great Taipei Area .The independent variables between or among subjectswith different background variables of the current status and differences mentioned above were examined. 160 senior high school physical education teachers were surveyed. A total of 142 returned questionaires were valid, with the response rate of 88%. The data were analysed by using descriptive statistics, independent sample t-tests, one-way analysisof variance, and Prarson product-moment correlation analysis. The study found: (a) the work pressure and job satisfaction of senior high school physical education teachers in Great Taipei Area were moderate; (b) administrative leadership was the highest factor in work pressure dimension and payment cognitive was the second one; (c) work achievement was the highest factor in job satisfaction dimensi on and work content was the second one; (d) In work pressure dimenaion, males, with post-graduated degree and five years in-service in private school have a significant difference to females, with bachelor degree and 11-20 years in-service in public school; and (e) there was a significant negative correlation between overall work pressure and overall job sarisfaction
