It conducts a questionnaire survey, “Questionnaire on Sports Participation Motivation and Social Support of Senior/Vocational High School Taekwondo Players in New Taipei City”, on the players, with 395 questionnaires returned. After being analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way anova and Pearson’s correlations, the results are shown below: I. “Male”, “the first grade” (Grade), “over 3 years” (Years of Experience), “from elementary school” (When you started to learn taekwondo), “top three in township/town/city” (The best achievement you made in sports) and “No” (Whether participating in taekwondo affects your academic achievements) score the highest in their respective dimensions. II. “Technical Needs” scores the highest in the dimension of sports participation motivation of the players. There is a significant difference between male and female players in “Technical Needs”; there is a significant difference between players with different years of experience in “Technical Needs”; there is a significant difference between players whose best achievements in sports are different in “Achievement Needs”, “Social Needs” and “Technical Needs”; there is a significant difference between players with different academic achievements in “Achievement Needs” and “Technical Needs”. III. “Family Support” scores the highest in the dimension of social support of players. There is a significant difference between male and female players in “Family Support”, “Teammates’ Support”, “Classmates’ Support” and “Coach Support”; there is a significant difference between players with different years of experience in “Classmates’ Support” and “Teammates’ Support”; there is a significant difference between players starting to learn taekwondo at different times in “Family Support”; there is a significant difference between players whose best achievements in sports are different in “Family Support”, “Teammates’ Support” and “Coach Support”; there is a significant difference between players with different academic achievements in “Family Support”, “Teachers’ Support” and “Coach Support”.
