How to integrate it is an issue that deserves our attention. As technology advances, museums have adopted information management systems as an information integration tool. During the practice period at New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum, the author found the information management system featured a integration function. It incorporated the museum’s operation functions, such as collection, exhibition, education, external development, etc., in order to effectively circulate the museum’s information. This study further employed an integrated information system view to explore some museum information management systems. This study made reference to the Architecture of Integrated Information System(ARIS) by splitting a museum management system into four views:organization, function, data, control. Moreover, a case study approach was employed to analyze the structure of the Yingge Ceramics Museum management system and how it is used. This study undertook interviews with museum managers and staff by purposive sampling. Through these interviews, we could understand how the employees utilized the system and proceeded to analyze its advantages and disadvantages. Finally, based on these results, a integrated information system that adapts to museums was constructed. Results are shown below: 1. A preliminary concept structure is suggested that adapts to museums (as figure “museum integrated information system preliminary concept structure”), with suggestions for the organization, function, data, and control, respectively. 2. An integrated information system features integration, sharing, knowledge buildup, business efficiency upgrade, image management, and museum missions embodiment. 3. In respect of museums which have their integrated information systems in practice, we suggest comparing the “museum integrated information system preliminary concept structure” with the original system structure to inspect every aspect of the original system and mend it if any. 4. In order to completely develop the benefit of the integrated information system, maintenance of the system is indispensable. According to the case of Yingge Ceramics Museum . We suggest two points: promotion and regular inspection. 辛治寧 2015 學位論文 ; thesis 98 zh-TW
