The research participants were students from a junior high school in Yilan County. A total of 450 people were used as samples, from which 413 valid questionnaires were received, an availability rate of 91.7%. The data obtained was subjected to descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, chi-square test, multiple choice cross analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The findings are as follows: Most junior high school students had no problem watching anime. In fact, more than 50% of students said they enjoyed watching anime, with humorous and combat anime types their favorites. Currently, One Piece is the most popular anime for junior high school students, followed by Attack on Titan, Kochikame and Crayon Shin-chan. As for anime characters, the junior high school students' favorites ranked in order are: Luffy (lead character in One Piece), Tony Chopper (a character in One Piece), Ryōtsu Kankichi (lead character in Kochikame) and Eren Jager (lead character in Attack on Titan). "For recreation and entertainment" was the main reason given for watching anime; As for the reasons students liked various characters, those born in the 1980s cared about peculiar style, students born in the 1990s were more interested in appearance and students born after 2000 paid attention to the characters' skills and personal traits. Male and female students differed greatly in terms of animation reading. The fondness for anime watching, average viewing time, degree of learning, imitation and character internalization exhibited by male students, were significantly higher than those for the female students. Conversely, the impact of anime watching on the students' homework completion was also significantly higher for male that female students. As for preference and choice of anime type, work and characters, male students preferred combat types, while female students preferred humorous work. Male students were usually better observers of whether anime characters demonstrated sound skills, while female students paid attention to the appearance and personal traits of the characters. Many junior high school students discuss anime with their peers and agreed that specific anime characters had a deep influence on them. They also spent time learning the talents or merits of characters they liked. Students tended to feel that anime had a positive influence on them. The results of this study also showed that the higher the degree of character internalization and the greater the impact on their studies. 段昌國 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 88 zh-TW |
