Description
Summary:碩士 === 佛光大學 === 樂活生命文化學系 === 102 === The researcher carry out in-depth study the method of spirit cultivation─ Jing-YuanTao (瀞园道). In this study, qualitative approaches such as literature review, in-depth interviews, and personal empirical experiences were employed to systemati-cally introduce Jing-YuanTao’s origin, practice priniciples, practice theory and methods, and its effects on body, mind and soul. It is hoped that this study can serve as a reference for those who are devoted to spiritual practices and for those who are inter-ested in cleansing practices of Jing-YuanTao. Jing-YuanTao is a spiritual belief originating from the ancient civilization of the middle Asia. Its theory, methods, and effects have been attained and accumulated from “oracles of holy spirits”, “inner experiences of practitioners”, and “hands-on experiences” from daily practices. It has been further developed through predecessors’ practices and experiences derived from Dongyi practice (動意功) of Zhineng medi-cine(智能醫學), the six syllable mantra practice of holy life of energy, avatar, and an-throposophy. Jing-YuanTao improves life quality through development of “mercy”, “courage” and “wisdom”—three essential keys to life. On the basis of mind cultivation, its prac-tice methods involve 13 outer movement practices and 3 levels of inner practices, systematically cleansing chakras in the sushumna in the order of “body, mind, spirit, affection and genuinity,” and of “soul, spirit, love, affection and mercy”. The practice of Jing-YuanTao primarily consists of a chant composed of three basic sounds of the universe and regular breathing rhythms. When practicing, one has to be relaxed, calm, quiet, and steady and adhere to the main inner points—“being quiet, clean and respectful”, and “being involved, unfolding, and thriving”. By and by, he or she can integrate the senses of isolation and closeness in the unconscious mind. Through cleansing marks left in the etheric body, one can pu-rify and clarify his astral body, uplifting his spirit, connect to Higher Self in surrender and respect and even experience the great joy of the integration of the universe. Through constant cleansing and elevating his spirit, a practitioner of JingYuanTao cannot only build up his body and activate self-healing mechanism but also enlighten his spirit, sharpen his senses, clarify his thoughts and calm his emotion. He can fur-ther show his efficiency, courage, potential in his life and know and realize his life goal. To those who practice methods in daily life, they will benefit a lot from their practice if they stick to the key point “Kong (空, void) to Kong (空, void)”. As a method of inner spiritual practice, Jing-YuanTao offers an approach for those who wish to integrate their negative energy in their unconscious mind. Since all things are nothing but phenomena in mind, it is clear, pure, and innocent mind and real practices that really help realize our inner self, connect us to the holy spirits and even benefits every living being.
