I chose to start my teaching career in my tribe first as compensation for the lost time with Atayal gaga. I suffered the cultural conflict between indigenous and mainstream, so I decided to leave my tribe again. Being the only one indigenous teacher in a public junior high school, I took this position as a place for me to settle down and move on with my life. However, I still suffer the fatigue and dilemma myself, and so those indigenous teenagers do. Lingering among my tribes and Han society, I often doubt myself as the minority of the minorities. I adopt self-narrative as the approach of my thesis. Through self- narrative I construct those influences on me by the significant time such as studying process, being a teacher at my tribe, marriage, teaching outside the tribes and …etc. Then, in contrast to Sayun’s story, the similar social situation helps me to reframe the relationships both to families and marriage and to build up self -awareness on the necessity of support to those indigenous young learners who suffer from the struggle of mainstreaming education. 林香君 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 178 zh-TW |
