The manganese steel sheet specimen was cold-rolled by different rolling ratio form 0%、20%、40%、 60% to 80%. Experimental result shows the H.V. hardness of the manganese steel sheet will be increased by higher rolling ratio, the micro-crack exactly related to the rolling ratio since there is an ultimate punch load by using small punch test. This report describe and discuss the plastic deformation behavior and failure phenomena of the manganese steel sheet, after using S.E.M. to find rupture characteristics and fracture surface.
