Issues related to environmental consciousness and sustainable development is also being highly discussed. The concept of Green Port has been gradually proposed. The port is not only an important base for the country&;#39;s internal and external trade, but also a portal for cargos and an important hub for information and logistics. Frequent activities and various operations at the port will pollute the environment and cause seriously health effects to the port workers and the surrounding communities. Grain, mining (coal, gravel, etc.) and petroleum based chemicals are the main cargos in Taichung Port. Currently, there are many environmental problems affecting the port. In response to environmental consciousness and the negative impact arising from port operations, this research analysis through literature review and current situations. We also study green port programs from overseas, sorting out its importance assessment and development policy. Then through the expert questionnaire, the analytic network process by ANP results in order to obtain the best development strategy for green port and gives the authority a reference for the future. In air pollution, providing shore power facilities and vessel speed reduction program are the top five strategies. In energy use, alternative energy source would be a good start. The prevention and control of water pollution, experts agree with providing facilities to prevent leaking, and finding the sources of sewage can effectively improve water pollution. With noise pollution control, using low-noise high-tech equipment to reduce the noise impact on the environment.
