At the end, the scene drew back to the childhood again, just like season changing: spring, summer, fall, winter, then spring again. The last scene of this film showed in a radial picture, it matched with the dharma of Buddhism: reincarnation! The other Korean film “3-Iron”, the actor of it experienced an unusual life “journey in the empty rooms”, and dropped to be the actress spiritual director. In this film, the director used a special shooting way to proceed how he got enlightened through practice. At the end of the film, while both of them were standing on the scale, it showed at “0”. It seemed like the dharma of Buddhism-the field of emptiness. The special movie words, both in “spring summer fall winter and spring” and “3-Iron”, for example: light, water, mountain, trees, are natural elements; a door, a wall, a boat, an autobike, a statue, and a mirror are material elements. They all symbolized rich Buddhist hints. The round structure with season changing and the circulation of lives in these films just meet with the thought of Buddhist reincarnation as well. This thesis is based on the core of Buddhist dharma: The Four Noble Truths ﹙suffering, the roots of suffering, the cessation of creating suffering, the path). By observation and expansion, well get more realization about Korean films, “spring summer fall winter and spring” and “3-Iron” at the same time. 朱文光 2014 學位論文 ; thesis 189 zh-TW |
