Planning with the Ministry of Transportation of some counties and cities have been carried out on the existing footbridge assessment and planning.
In this study, the first survey to understand the problem through the Western District of Taichung City pedestrian bridge site, then by interviews with experts, scholars and professionals to make appropriate improvements in methods and practices.
Through a site survey and assessment, to identify Taichung City West skywalk three most in need of improvement. Focused interviews that can improve pedestrian bridge in accordance with their properties, with the surrounding environment, combined with local resources, to attract businesses, associations or other rewards through the game co-management and maintenance methods.
