Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 土木工程學系 === 102 === Currently there is no lack of domestic and foreign research results related to critical conditions of the onset of debris flow, yet these results are mostly based on landslide mechanism such that it is difficult to grasp the critical conditions of debris flow induced by particles of various sizes in gullies or valleys. This dissertation is the extension of the research related to the critical conditions of the onsite of debris flow based on floating principles carried out by the research team of my advisor. The major thrust of this thesis is to formulate an equation such that the critical bottom speed “vbc” of water-floating particle mixture can be evaluated by , slope of gully or valley and the size of larger particle D. By applying the aforementioned relationship equation, the results indicate that after the floating of particles of proper sizes, the unit weight for the mixture of water and smaller floating particles has been increased such that it is possible for the larger particles to be floating in the low speed mixture, thus showing a theoretical result more similar to actual debris flow situations.
