Data for this study were collected from a sample of 354 subordinate–supervisor dyads working in 62 departments. Results of multilevel analyses showed that individual-level and group-level authentic leadership was positively related to employee voice behavior. We further found that the causal relationship between individual-level authentic leadership and voice behavior was mediated by individual-level social well-being.
