We further investigated the effects of unit-level group potency and individual-level group potency on antisocial behavior. Data for this study were collected from a sample of 387 subordinate–supervisor dyads working in 76 departments. Results of multilevel analyses showed that the relationship between abusive supervision and individual-level group potency was mediated by team cohesiveness and ethical climate. We further found that antisocial behavior was influenced by individual-level and unit-level group potency. Implications of the current study and directions for future research are discussed.
