The burnout of employees in cleaning squad became an issue that everyone paid close attention to. To comprehend what their thought, we discussed the antecedent factors of burnout, occupational stress, workload, and emotional labor. In this study, 204 employees in Changhua city cleaning squad were investigated. To obtain the necessary information, 12 interviewees were selected as samples. Findings of this study are as follows: 1. Organizational identity of squad members has negative influences to occupational stress. 2. Working identity of squad members has negative influences to occupational stress. 3. Similar workflow of squad members has negative influences to occupational stress. 4. Burnout of squad members has positive influences to resignation tendency. 5. Emotional labor of squad members has positive influences to resignation tendency. 6. Low self-actualization of squad members has positive influences to resignation tendency. 7. Absence of human-based management has positive influences to resignation tendency. 8. Organizational identity of squad members has negative influences to resignation tendency. 9. Working identity of squad members has negative influences to resignation tendency. 10. Similar workflow of squad members has negative influences to resignation tendency. 11. Occupational stress, workload, and emotional labor have mediating influences to burnout. 12. Part of results support that occupational stress, workload, emotional labor, and burnout have significant difference between individuals. We will propose our discoveries and conclusions to the environmental protection administration, cleaning squads, and investigators on continuing this study.
