We performed variance analysis on technology readiness and the intention of class management using Facebook based on the teachers’ personal backgrounds, and we further explained the corresponding predictions of technology readiness on class-management intention. The stratified convenience sampling was adopted, and 8,869 elementary school teachers in Taoyuan County were chosen with 478 effective samples. The results were obtained by methods such as descriptive statistics, t-test, variance analysis of single factor and multiple regression analysis, which are listed as follows. 1. In the aspects of optimism and innovation of technology readiness, there are obvious differences among teacher seniority, the most used social websites, and the time spending on Facebook. 2. There are also evident differences among the seniority, positions, class management, the most used social websites, and the time spending on Facebook, when considering class management by Facebook. 3. The four facets of technology readiness, i.e., optimism, creativity, insecurity and discomfort, all possess prediction ability with respect to the intention of class management using Facebook. Among these, the optimism facet has the highest prediction value with its overall explanatory power reaching 43%. 4. The elementary school teachers are categorized in technology readiness, and the group of pioneers has the highest ratio of 12.97%. This suggests that such teachers have higher degrees of the four facets, optimism, creativity, insecurity and discomfort.
