碩士 === 大葉大學 === 教育專業發展研究所 === 102 === This study aimed to explore the relations among perfectionism, procrastination and stress in adolescence. There were four hundred ninety-eight (240 boys, 258 girls) 7th to 9th grade students of junior high school students. Materials were used including (a) Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale ; (b) Tuckman Procrastination Scale and (c) Perceived Stress Scale. The reliability and validity for the instruments were checked and satisfactory. The data collected were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson product-moment correlation, multiple regression analysis. The results were summarized as follows: 1. Perfectionism, procrastination and stress were significantly associated. 2. Perfectionism could significantly predict stress; procrastination could significantly predict stress; Perfectionism could significantly predict procrastination; Perfectionism and procrastination could significantly predict stress. Finally, this study based on research results had discussed and offered suggestions for future research.
