Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 電機工程學系 === 102 === A cooperative nodes mechanism is embedded into a novel developed greenhouse crop surveillance system for mitigating network congestion proposed in this work. Initially, a remote controlled surveillance system is implemented for a greenhouse crop and the proposed system is based on an IOT (Internet-of-Things) platform. The developed system is suitable for monitoring plant growth environment parameters. Accordingly, the gathered data and measurement system results are helpful for designing the system and can also be useful for studying plant growth environments. The Zigbee wireless mesh is integrated with sensor nodes to construct a semi-WSN (wireless sensor network). Moreover, due to solve the fast development of WSNs in which the numbers of nodes are increasing, and their scope of applications is continuously expanding. Accordingly, this study focused on exploring problems caused by traffic congestion on the WSNs with a large amount of flow, such as packet loss, bandwidth reduction, and waste of energy on the sensor nodes.
