Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 運動事業管理學系 === 102 === The present study aims to investigate the relationship between quality of life and health-related fitness of middle school athletes. The data was collected purposive sampling from middle school of middle region of Taiwan, 85 high school athletes, 36 junior high school athletes. And through agreement with their teacher and parents, athletes complete filling in quality of life scale, and also tested health-related fitness. Data collected will be analyzed through descriptive statistics, independent variables t-test, MANOVA, Scheffe post-hoc and Pearson product-moment correlation. The result shows that types of sport and the number of coaches would not have effect on middle schools athletes’ quality of life; instead, genders, event types, status of athlete, and their school system would have effect significantly. The status of athlete wouldn’t affect health-related fitness, but as for genders, types of sport, event types, school system and number of coaches would significantly affect their health-related fitness. The present study found that quality of life and health-related fitness of middle school athletes would significantly affect each other.
