碩士 === 大葉大學 === 國際企業管理學系碩士班 === 102 === This study aimed at discussing the family structure, peer relationship and well-being of children of new immigrants.Three main purposes of this study are to: 1.discuss the correlation between family structure and well-being of children of new immigrants,2. discuss the correlation between family structure and peer relationship of children of new immigrants, 3.understand the correlation between peer relationshop and well-being of children of new immigrants. This study utlized a questionnaiure survey. The research subjects are the children of new immigrants who are currently the elementary upper graders in Changhua County. Twenty nine elementary shools particiated in this study and an effective sample of 480 was obtained. The data were analyzed through methods of descriptive statistics, independent -samplest test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficient. The conclusions of this study are: 1. The well-being and peer relationship of children of new immigrants are generallygood. 2.There is no significant difference between the gender and well-being of children of new immigrants. 3. The peer relationship of female children of new immigrants is stronger than that of male. 4. There is no significant difference between the family structure and well-being of children of new immigrants. 5. There is no significant difference between the family structure and peer relationship of children of new immigrants. 6. There is a positive correlation between the peer relationship and well-being of children of new immigrants. This study therefore provided suggestions for school teachers and future research accoring to the researh resutls.
