Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 設計暨藝術學院碩士班 === 102 === ABSTRACT The Autophilia has always been considered as symptoms of arrogance, physiological illness, delusion and violence. The artists’ works are usually the reflection of their own affection to express the autophilia inside their own minds. In the world of art creation, the artists wish to reach self-agreement by setting up their goal with autophilia. The research mainly focused on the study of Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn(1606-69), Jean Désiré Gustave Courbet (1819-77) and Egon Schiele (1890-1918)s’ self and naked women’s portraits. As we went deeper, we discovered artists’ unbelievable and unique personalities of autophilia, arrogance and self-challenging. They applied both virtual image and real image in the portraits; moreover, we noticed that the deviation of virtual image implied the characteristics of autophilia people’s state of minds. The study applied Iconologia as the fundamental theory, such as the portraits used in the study were all symbolic Iconography mark including Wolfflin Heinrich s’(1864-1945) Iconography and Panofsky Erwin s’(1892-1968) Iconology.
