This coexistence of "aging" and "low birth rate" is almost a common problem facing by most countries in the world. Therefore, “not only to have a long life but also to live well "is something that worth thinking about and planning. This research aims to understand the expectations and experiences of the quality of long-term care institute service for people who need it. This research uses "Long-term care Institute Service Scale" as a tool to sample a total of 128 questionnaires. Among them, 6 questionnaires are invalid and 122 questionnaires are valid. Nearly 95% questionnaires are effective. It is a long-term care Institute case study through descriptive statistics, t - test, the importance - performance analysis and other statistical methods to analyze research data. The conclusions are as following: between the service in demand and in satisfaction shows a significant preference in demand than satisfaction. It means there is still room for improvement in the part of "the clean of living environment; for instance, to be well ventilated and plenty of light “, " Empathetic and assisting "and" long-term care institutions in the face of controversial issues, can take care of patients’ self-esteem and for the best interests of them ".The emphasis on the improvement of these three parts according to the results of the research offers relevant advice to the patient, government, and the caretaker.
