Teachers have also suffered from increasing work stress. With the crisis, the trend of fewer babies, it has been an important concern to promote schools' strengths for competition. Therefore, schools must pay attention to how satisfied the teachers are with their jobs, so that teachers can make every effort to support the schools' management. In fact, teachers' personality traits affect the behaviors of students through their instruction. Besides, teachers' work values are important factors which influence their work performance as well. If schools' administration can pay attention to teachers' work stress, personality traits, and work values, suitable work can be properly arranged for each teacher. This upgrades both teaching quality and school development; furthermore, it increases teachers' satisfaction with jobs. This study aims to discuss the effects of work stress, personality traits, and work values on job satisfaction of elementary school teachers. Having the elementary school teachers in Kaohsiung City be the research subjects, total 474 questionnaires are distributed and 435 valid copies are retrieved. The research findings show that there are partial significant differences among the work stress, personality traits, work values, and job satisfaction under the factor of different personal background. Teachers’ work stress and job satisfaction reaches the significant negative correlation. Referring to personality traits, there is significant negative correlation between Neuroticism and job satisfaction. The other four aspects, including Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, and Openness to Experience, all achieve significant positive correlation with job satisfaction. Besides, there is significant positive correlation between work values and job satisfaction as well. Furthermore, in terms of work stress, Student Behaviors and Professional Competence have negatively significant influences on job satisfaction. In respect of personality traits, Neuroticism achieves negatively significant effect on job satisfaction. Instead, Agreeableness, Extraversion, and Openness to Experience represent positively significant influence. Particularly, Openness to Experience is the most influential. With regard to work values, Intellectual Stimulation, Achievement and Prestige, Organization's Security, and Altruism all create positively significant effect on job satisfaction. Among these, Organization's Security has the most influence. Regarding the three factors of work stress, personality traits, and work values, work values affect job satisfaction the most.
