description 碩士 === 台灣首府大學 === 教育研究所 === 102 === The main purposes of this study were to compare the differences in work value, career self-efficacy and employability between college students cross-strait and examine the relationship of these variables . The subjects were 400 college students in Taiwan and 400 in Mainland China. The ‘ Work Value Scale for Colledge Studnets’ (WVSCS), the ‘Career Self-Efficacy Scale for Colledge Studnets’ (CSESCS) and the ‘ Employability Scale for Colledge Studnets’ (ESCS) were administered. The main findings were as follows: 1. College students cross-strait possessed an above average level of consent toward the six work value in WVSCS. 2. There were significant differences in WVSCS scores in college students between Taiwan and Mainland China. 3. There were significant differences in WVSCS scores among college students of different background in Taiwan. 4. There were significant differences in WVSCS scores among college students of different background in Mainland China. 5. College students cross-strait possessed an above average level of career self-efficacy. 6. There were no significant differences in CSESCS scores in college students between Taiwan and Mainland China. 7. There were significant differences in CSESCS scores among college students of different background in Taiwan. 8. There were no significant differences in CSESCS scores among college students of different background in Mainland China. 9. College students cross-strait possessed an above average level of employabillty. 10. There were no significant differences in ESCS scores in college students between Taiwan and Mainland China. 11. There were significant differences in ESCS scores among college students of different background in Taiwan. 12. There were no significant differences in ESCS scores among college students of different background in Mainland China. 13. For college students in Taiwan, there were significant positive correlations between WVSCS scores and CSESCS scores. Six WVSCS factors accounted for 43.881% of total variance in seven CSESCS factors. 14. For college students in Taiwan, there were significant positive correlations between WVSCS scores and ESCS scores. Six WVSCS factors accounted for29.635% of total variance in eight ESCS factors. 15. For college students in Taiwan, there were significant positive correlations between CSESCS scores and ESCS scores. Seven CSESCS factors accounted for 52.476% of total variance in eight ESCS factors. 16. For college students in Mainland China, there were significant positive correlations between WVSCS scores and CSESCS scores. Six WVSCS factors accounted for 41.610% of total variance in seven CSESCS factors. 17. For college students in Mainland China, there were significant positive correlations between WVSCS scores and ESCS scores. Six WVSCS factors accounted for 42.897% of total variance in eight ESCS factors. 18. For college students in Mainland China, there were significant positive correlations between CSESCS scores and ESCS scores. Seven CSESCS factors accounted for 59.462% of total variance in eight ESCS factors. 19. For college students in Taiwan, work value, through the mediating process of influence of career self-efficacy, had an indirected effect on employabillty. Using 6 WVSCS factors and 7 CSESCS factors as predictive variables and 8 ESCS factors as criterion varialbes in ‘Structural Equdtion Modeling’, the directed effect of WVSCS factors toward ESCS factors was β=.112, while the indirected effect was β= .618。 20. For college students in Mainland China, work value, through the mediating process of influence of career self-efficacy, had an indirected effect on employabillty. Using 6 WVSCS factors and 7 CSESCS factors as predictive variables and 8 ESCS factors as criterion varialbes in ‘Structural Equdtion Modeling’, the directed effect of WVSCS factors toward ESCS factors was β= .198, while the indirected effect was β=.635。
