Summary: | 碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 建築系建築及都市設計碩博士班 === 103 === Interior style and color tones are major factors in interior design, and directly relate to the body's physiological and psychological reactions. To understand the different influences on users in emotions and preferences for interior styles and tones, the study conducted computer simulation experiments and the semantic differential technique for psychological reaction evaluation, in order to discuss the users' emotional reactions, situational feelings, spatial perception and preferences for different interior styles and tones. The five computer stimulated spatial samples are of classic, modern, country, exotic and mixed styles, which are then directed by warm, cold and black-and-white tones. The psychological evaluation result shows the users' emotional reactions and degree of preferences derived by different interior styles and color tones, and will serve as a reference for future interior design.
Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA test and two-way ANOVA test. The conclusion shows that: interactive effects of different interior styles and tones are influential to the subjects' five emotion reactions including happy, fun, dynamic, rational and fulfilling feelings. Interactive effects of different interior styles and tones are influential to the subjects' six situational feelings including gorgeous, lively, dazzling, colorful, fashionable and welcoming feelings. Interactive effects of different interior styles and tones are influential to the subjects' three spatial perceptions including consistent, light and sharp feelings. In warm color tones, the modern style is more preferred as a "good design" than classic, country, exotic and mixed styled. In modern style, the warm and color tones are more preferred as "good designs" than the black-and-white tone.
