Description
Summary:碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 環境工程與管理系 === 102 === With the rapid development of society, the quantities of nitrogen contained pollutants discharged into water bodies increased rapidly. In order to prevent the eutrophication of water bodies, the wastewater containing ammonia nitrogen must be effectively treated. This study explored the degradation of ammonia nitrogen pollutants in water. Graphite plates were used as electrode plates in the electrochemical oxidation method. In the electrolytic process of wastewater, there was no degradation of ammonia nitrogen without the presence of chlorine ions. Degradation efficiency of ammonia nitrogen was improved with the increasing of the concentration of chloride ions. The applied voltage affects the degradation rate of ammonia nitrogen. With a higher voltage the degradation rate of ammonia nitrogen was faster. However, the electric power loss was larger along with the higher voltage. At the acidic wastewater, ammonia nitrogen is degraded slowly. Alkaline wastewater is conducive to the degradation of ammonia nitrogen. Larger or smaller spacing between electric plates would result in the increasing electric resistance and affect the degradation rate of ammonia nitrogen. Different temperatures and concentrations of ammonia nitrogen wastewater do not have signification effect on the degradation rate.
