The research adopted the questionnaire survey method. The initial step was to analyze the reading and references about the surplus pressure of teachers and teaching involvement. Then, the questionnaire “Surplus Pressure of Teachers and Teaching Involvement in Toayuan County “ was drawn up. The study sends out 350 questionnaires, receives 335 ones, and 333 of them are available. Hope to understand the current situations, differences, the relationships between surplus pressure of teachers and teaching involvement, and the relationships between them from elementary school teachers whose personal background are different. After the statistic analysis, the results of this research were as follows: 1. There is a positive correlation between surplus pressure of teachers and teaching involvement in Toayuan county. It means the higher of surplus pressure, the higher of teaching involvement.Because of the job is not easy to change for teachers, if teachers quite their job, it will very difficult to enter, so they are teaching seriously expect to reduce the surplus pressure 2. Marital status will be regulating the surplus pressure and teaching involvement. The positive correlation between surplus pressure and teaching involvement of married teachers is higher than that of unmarried teachers. It is because the married teachers care about the surplus will effect whose work and family. 3. Sex, age, school size, and years of continuous service in the same school of teachers will not be regulating the surplus pressure and teaching involvement. This shows that teachers with different backgrounds will not affect the influence of excess pressure to teaching involvement. 4. The study found that the relevant authorities should develop a adequate measure of surplus to ptomote the teaching involvement of teachers in appropriate surplus pressure .
