Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 機械工程研究所 === 102 === The purpose of the paper is to investigate the different rake angle and helical angle on tool wear of the pcb router bit. The experiment results showed the using router bits with rake angle of 2° showed a lower wear, The reason for may be due to the result of higher tool strength, Which can withdraw a larger impact load, router bits with a lower helical angle displayed a lower wear with a better milling performance. on the other hand router bits whit rake angle of 6°and helix angle of 25° cutting of FR4 mainly showed a worn mode of broken, This possibly is attributed to a large wear of relief face and the mechanical impact . Besides , router bits with smaller rake angle , a lower helical angle showed a relatively lower wear and fracture.
The two manageable mill factors in the full-factorial experiments, the influence of router bits distance and flank wear of width with different large rake angle and large helix angle with the most significant influence.the meantime ,according to the experiment date showing that large rake angle and large helix angle would be with the largest attrition valie and small rake angle and small helix angle have the smaller attrition value. Therefore ,wear of router bits is proportional to the using time . All in all using the smaller rake angle and lower helical angle of the pcb displayed a relatively better milling performance with a lower wear . oppositely, large rake angle and large helical angle showed a broken mode.
