However, with other countries touch panel industry rising, Taiwan has faced the challenge to live or die in this field. Especially in China, with the majority of the country's needs as and government’s strong supporting, they catch Taiwan up at technology and cost control level. Therefore, this research is taking a view from the product structure and technological innovation to explore the division in Taiwan touch panel industry. The collaborative research through literature review and expert opinion to confirm the product structure and technological innovation factors, collected through survey, and the use of SPSS statistical software to explore the impact of technological innovation on the product structure. Moreover using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process; AHP), to obtain the right of priority by each standard product structure and technological innovation, in order to get the division in Taiwan touch panel industry. The object of this study was focus on decision-makers and R &; D executives from touch panel-related vendors, there are 20 valid questionnaires effective questionnaires. According to research, the touch panel industry regardless of in product structure or touch technology innovation in the industrial division mode through Vertical Integration of Products is most conducive to the existing on.Existing touch panel TFT-LCD panel plant in addition to plant has started doing vertical integration, the rest makers are also processing this plot in this moment. Nevertheless, the industry has begun to face the excess product and price competition problem recently, The Vertical Integration of the whole industry chain trend is what they have to face come after. Furthermore, Vertical Integration in product structure and touch technology innovation in the industrial division mode for the whole industry is the better solution no matter from research result or reality mode.
